How to connect Parrot Skycontroller 2 to Parrot Disco

 

  • First, place Parrot Disco on a flat surface. Then, press the ON/OFF switch to turn on Parrot Disco. The light flashes red then green when the GPS is connected.

     

  • Press the On/Off switch on Parrot Skycontroller 2.

     

  • Wait patiently until the warning light is continually on green. You are connected to Parrot Disco.

     

  • If the warning light continues to flash red, you need to

    calibrate Parrot Disco. To do this:



    1. In the FreeFlight Pro app, go to Fly & Film >  >

    Position, distances and geo-fencing and press Calibrate.







    2. Rotate Parrot Disco on the Z-axis (yaw).





    3. Rotate Parrot Disco on the Y-axis (pitch).





    4. Rotate Parrot Disco on the X-axis (roll).



    > The warning light flashes

    green. Parrot Disco is

    calibrated.



     



 

How to connect your Parrot Skycontroller 2 to your smartphone

To connect your smartphone to Parrot Skycontroller 2, screw on the smartphone holder. You can rotate the holder to fit your smartphone's dimensions. To do this, press it and rotate it clockwise.



2. Press the switch on the right of the holder to open it fully.



3. Position your smartphone on the holder.



4. Tighten the holder on your smartphone.



5. Using the USB cable of your smartphone, connect your

smartphone to the USB port of Parrot Skycontroller 2.



> The FreeFlight Pro app starts automatically.

You are connected.





 

What are the indications given by Parrot Skycontroller 2's lights?

 

When the light flashes red, Parrot Skycontroller 2 is attempting to connect to a drone. Make sure your drone is on.

 

It can also mean that Parrot Skycontroller 2's battery is low. So you must recharge the battery.

 

Thirdly, it can mean that Parrot Skycontroller 2 has detected a problem with the drone.

 

When the light is solid green, it means that Parrot Skycontroller 2 is connected to the drone.
