Pre-flight checks



Parrot Disco-Pro AG must be used in compliance with applicable local regulations. The flight locations must be compatible with the movements of the drone and must not endanger people, animals and property at any time.  


• The use of Parrot Disco-Pro AG in certain public places (e.g.  train stations, airports, etc.) or on public roads may not be allowed.


• The pilot must maintain eye contact with Parrot Disco-Pro AG at all times and keep control of its trajectory.  


• Before you fly your Parrot Disco-Pro AG, check the restrictions regarding the use of Wi-Fi frequencies at the flight location.  Certain frequencies may be restricted or prohibited. For instance, in some countries the use of the 5 GHz band for your Wi-Fi may be prohibited for outdoor locations.


Parrot Disco-Pro AG


  • Check if the wings are properly fitted before taking off


  • Fully charge the battery of your drone and the Parrot Skycontroller 2 remote control before starting a flight


  • Make sure the hood of Parrot Disco-Pro AG is closed properly


  • If the indicator light is flashing green, then it's a good sign: Parrot Disco-Pro AG has detected the GPS signal


  • Also check the condition of the ground where Parrot Disco-Pro AG is supposed to land


Parrot Sequoia+


  • Before using Parrot Sequoia+, remove its protective shell


  • Be sure to connect Parrot Sequoia+ to the right micro-USB port of Parrot C.H.U.C.K


  • Check if there is enough memory in the multispectral sensor to record the photos you will take during the flight


  • Check that the modules are firmly attached to the drone before the flight


  • Check all the USB connections


  • Do not forget to calibrate all the sensors


  • Wait for the green light of the sunshine sensor: it means that the GPS is enabled!
