With the pollution, the insects and the weather, your drone is no longer as dazzling as it was before flying. So, to return it to its former glory, a cleaning session is required. Follow our advice!

NB: Always remove the battery before cleaning your drone.

How to clean the body of your drone

First, get hold of the following equipment:

  • Soft cloth

  • Household alcohol

  • Microfiber cloth

To begin, tackle the body of your drone with a few drops of alcohol on a soft cloth.  Then wipe it with a microfiber cloth to dry and polish the unit.

How to clean the propellers of the drone

The performance of a drone is reliant upon having propellers that are in good condition. So, a cloth soaked in household alcohol will do the trick for cleaning them.  Use a cotton swab for the more inaccessible parts.

How to clean the camera of the drone

A clean and well-maintained lens is twice as likely to produce high-quality images and videos! To clean it, equip yourself with a glasses cloth and rub the lens gently. If the lens is too dirty, add a few drops of window cleaner. You can also use polarizing or protective filters if you find that the camera is getting dirty too fast.
